Of course it took a soccer player to do it ;)

Speaking of which I should have watched the video before I commented, as they played Oswego!!! LOL!

Well, I could change the caption to Geneseo-Oswego game makes national sports news. Another tenth of a second and Oswego might have won.

There. Oswego makes the news for something other than snow.

Actually I don't know SUNY Oswego from Geneseo from Oneonta, Albany, Cortland, Morrisville or wherever (though I did go to Oswego to take my daughter to a rock concert last Feb).

I just know it's a fracking long drive from Geneseo home late at night in the freezing rain. We got home from our Thanksgiving trip out west (Seattle and Milwaukee with layovers in Detroit and Minneapolis) at 1:30 a.m. Monday. We should have been home much earlier but we flew from Detroit to Rochester twice Sunday night -- the first without landing, because the de-icing mechanism reportedly didn't work so we flew back to Detroit, where it was warmer, landed, got another plane, and eventually flew back to Rochester, where we picked up the car, drove to Geneseo, drove back up to Rochester and headed east on the thruway. I'm still recovering, it seems. Such is the news, I'm too lazy to post about.

The ESPN clip is funny because my son sent it with the preface that he was finally sending me an email for a change (my kids and husband are not too keen on reading all the FASCINATING, INTERESTING, OR IMPORTANT links and articles I send them).

It is always a long drive to Geneseo! Or Oswego. But Oswego is closer for you!!

I just saw this in this week's Sports Illustrated, too, and I could say I heard it here first. It's on the Game Plan page, labeled "Check out: The Shot of the Year," and is described as "one of the best college hoops ever."
